The Solveathon will take place from December 6 to 8, 2025, at Shakarim University.
About the Solveathon
This is an innovative project challenge that brings together students, researchers, and industry representatives. Over three days, teams will develop solutions to pressing challenges formulated by industrial partners—enterprises and organizations. The team-based format ensures the practical significance of the solutions and allows for the rapid development of applicable results for real-world industry needs.
“Shakarim Solveathon: AI&Agriculture” will become a vital platform for promoting youth initiatives and strengthening the university's partnership with industry, establishing an annual tradition for the future.
Prize Fund
The challenge establishes monetary awards for the winning teams as follows:
- 1st place — 1,000,000 tenge;
- 2nd place — 700,000 tenge;
- 3rd place — 500,000 tenge.
These awards are intended to recognize and support the most effective and innovative solutions presented throughout the competition.
Format and Stages
UNTIL DECEMBER 5
Preparatory Stage
Tasks from industrial partners are published on the official website, and team registration opens.
DECEMBER 6 (DAY 1)
Challenge Kick-off
Grand opening. Partners present their challenges. Teams select cases and begin brainstorming.
DECEMBER 7 (DAY 2)
Project Development
Teams develop solutions, build models, test prototypes. Mentoring sessions and intermediate pitches are held.
DECEMBER 8 (DAY 3)
Final Pitches
Teams present their results to the jury. Projects are evaluated, results are announced, and winners are awarded.
AFTER THE COMPETITION
Concluding Stage
Each team prepares and submits final materials and project proposals to their partner organization.
